Xulane can cause mild or severe side effects. The following lists contain some of the main side effects that can occur when taking Xulan. These lists do not include all possible side effects.

Here are some details about some side effects that this medicine can cause.

Cardiovascular problems in some people

Some women * using Xulane may be at increased risk of serious cardiovascular problems, including heart attack, blood clots, and stroke. (Cardiovascular problems affect your heart and blood vessels.)
