Taylor Swift responds to damning report on private jet use

Taylor Swift has joined the growing list of stars catching the heat from their private jets.

According to data shared by the celebrity jet tracker CelebJetsthe singer-songwriter’s personal plane flew 170 times between January 1 and July 29. The Twitter account pulled the information from ADS-B exchangewhich bills itself as “the world’s largest public source of unfiltered flight data”.

Sustainable Marketing Agency Court referenced data from a damning report that ranked “the top 10 famous CO2e offenders.” Names like Floyd Mayweather, Jay-Z, Oprah and Kim Kardashian were on the list; however, it was Swift who was crowned the year’s biggest CO2e polluter so far. Yard also concluded that Swift’s plane flew about 139.36 miles with an average flight time of 80 minutes. The shortest flight of 2022 was 36 minutes from Missouri to Nashville.

The report led to online backlash and a considerable amount of roasting.

However, Swift’s team insists the report is misleading.
