Turkey’s regular energy consumption drops 3.4% on June 18

(MENAFN) Based on official data from the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Sunday, regular electricity consumption in Turkey fell 3.39% on Saturday from the previous day, standing at 880,941 megawatts per day. hour.

According to TEIAS fugues, hourly power consumption reached 41,090 megawatts per hour as of 3:00 p.m. regional time (1200 GMT). As of 07:00 regional time (0400 GMT), the country’s electricity consumption fell to the all-time low of 29,732 megawatts per hour.

On Saturday, power generation totaled 873,303 megawatts per hour, down 3.38% from the previous day.

Natural gas plants accounted for 18% of total electricity generation, while imported coal plants and wind power plants accounted for 16.5% and 15.6% respectively.
